Bri Blue: Founder/Creator of Unapologetically You

Bri Blue is an Author, Orator, Spoken Word Artist, Women’s Rights Advocate and Motivational Speaker hailing from Berkeley, CA.  A UC Berkeley alumna, Blue’s unique and emotionally charged performances connect emotion, entertainment, and inspiration to the goals, vision, and experiences of her audience. Blue has been invited to lend her creative, captivating brand of story telling to events across the US and on the national stage for TV One’s broadcast performance show ‘Lexus Verses and Flow’. A three time published author, she has a digital following of over 15,000, is the creator and host of Speak Easy (a widely popular weekly Open Mic Showcase in Northern CA), and is the founder of the 'Unapologetically You' Awareness Campaign which was designed to educate, uplift, and empower all women.

As the Best Female Spoken Word Artist in the 2015 and  2014 Bay Area Black Music Awards, a member of the 2015 Oakland Slam Poetry Team (ranked 21st in the Nation), and the 2014 H.O.P.E. Awards’ Most Inspiring Writer in the Bay Area, Bri Blue is a force to be reckoned with. With a commanding voice, a  presence that cannot be ignored, a fresh perspective, and an enigmatic personality, Blue is able to draw an audience into her world of words, engage them, then give them the emotional push and courage to take another step along their journey of purpose.
